Triphase PMx commissioned at ENGIE Lab: competence centre in electrical power and energy technology
Posted on 2016-01-15
Triphase programmable power converters are used at the core of the battery test facility at ENGIE Lab. The new power module joins the existing modules previously installed. It was important for the researchers of ENGIE Lab to be able to adapt the power module to perform their specific tests and not to adapt the test to fit the power system. The power module does just that. The module offers 9 bidirectional DC channels that can be grouped to accommodate higher currents or used separately to connect to multiple devices. Testing has already started on an EOS Aurora zinc hybrid cathode battery.
